“Well, my little trooper not only made a seamless transition [to preschool], but she’s been thriving. Lulu (my almost 2 year old) misses her big sis, but is doing well out of the big one’s shadow. And all this got me thinking that they will never be spending their days together again—except for summers, eventually. Lulu will always be tagging along two years behind Lilly, hopefully not having to wear too many hand-me-downs. For me, it is equally sad and exciting to be on the precipice of their entry into life.”
If it’s any consolation, my sisters and I have gotten along famously since I finished college…
