I’ve thought about buying them also. They’ve been very popular here for a few years. I thought they were a bit lame at first, but they are starting to win me over. I like the strap in the back, I haven’t seen that one.

They’re your feet-Rock the Crocs! What have you had for past beach shoes?

I think they are fine. Not my style, but I wouldn’t be embarrassed to be seen with someone wearing them…not that much embarrasses me, so my opinion may not be worth much!

I have hot pink ones to wear to take out the trash…but I’m pretty sure that is no help at all. Sorry. Are you planning on wearing them with socks?

Whit: Thanks. I like the strap, and the fact that they aren’t all full of holes. So I wouldn’t be sticking those dumb little figure-things in there.

Jason. I have used Converse Chuck low tops, which take a while to get comfortable. I had some Sketchers “Man sandals” last year (or as I called them, “Mandals”) that were heavy. Didn’t like them.

Della: My wife is used to being embarrassed of my wardrobe. She has compared me to “a homeless veteran” on a number of occasions. One of these days a crew from What Not To Wear on TLC will show up, I’m sure of it.

Farm Wife: No, I never wear socks in the summer.

Seriously, they are extremely comfortable and you should give them a try. If you think they aren’t worth the money, Target has a knock-off pair for about $10 which are pretty decent.

I’m pretty much guessing that if you get Crocs - it’s safe to say that the trend has passed beyond its tipping point and it’s time for something new to come out.

Hey Dave-after you get your new beach shoes you’ll have to throw up a picture of your summer ensemble so we all can pass judgement on the entire outfit.
